Smile
a beautiful illusion
it hides pain
it seals what's hidden
no traces, no signs
of what goes on within
no need to answer all questions
during the darkest of the days
at some of the loneliest hours
you just smile
with tears in the eyes
with silent screams
with a void that never fills
yes, it is easy to smile
as a sign of satire
as an escape from a never ending war
Smile
