Maa calls it with love
Baba calls it with pride
Siblings with affection
I search for it
when the final results are announced
when any selection list is out
I blush
when his voice embraces it
when his heart remembers it
But then one mistake
& everything is at stake
the world hisses at me like a snake
the society tears it apart
from the end to the start
like auctioning an item at the mart
I oppose
I refuse
I object
I might not be quite well-known
but my mistakes are my own
my name is my identity, not just an entry in your phone
