Like the sun & the moon
we exist in our own orbits
holding fragility between the fingers
with a promise to protect what is ours
my world glows up with you in it
I often pray for this bond to be tightly knit
but I also wonder
if I am important to you
or is it just a casual encounter?
The stars know it all
I may not say a word
for I am shy
but I search for you in your absence
& wish you too crave my presence
our love is a cozy feeling like home
my heart whispers your name
& I write a poem
for you, just for you...
