
'Catch me if you can'
she said with a smirk
as the glances judged her
as the world questioned her
as strangers mocked her;
her heart remains in a casket
with layers of scars
hiding her buried desires
she wears an armour
shielding her gentle softness;
may be one day
she doesn't have to be strong
she will just be enough
she will be pretty in her uglyness
she doesn't need to have answers;
may be one day
someone will say
"I will catch you
if you ever fall,
& mean it
& weave wings for her to fly !"
may be one day
someone will forever stay
may be ...
