#BlogchatterWritFest is here !

While reading is one of my hobbies, authors have always kind of remained a mysterious lot for me. I used to always wonder as a child if they lived in some magical land and through their words, they created magic, touched our lives. However, I was very fortunate enough to attend the lit-fest last year in March 2020 where I connected with very talented authors in the online event and saw the authors in front of my eyes, believing that they are as human as us and listened to them when they shared their journey with us, their point of view and how they connected the dots to bring out a book gave a completely different perspective.

As an aspiring author, I learned a lot from them. They taught me that even they did not have it easy, they too faced a time crunch and found it hard to market & publish the book. That filled in me a newfound enthusiasm that there is so much to learn along this way and one should never give up just because things seem monotonous or difficult.

Hence, this year I am really excited and I am looking forward to attending the #BlogChatter Writfest 2022 which is going to be an online festival & the theme is Connecting Readers With Authors and hence rightly the tagline. The lineup of authors is amazing and there is so much learning that will happen. And the best part is the ones who attend it will be able to directly interact with the authors, ask questions and clear their doubts. Isn’t that just amazing?

The detailed schedule is as below:

On the 4th of March, the theme is “Relatability in Fiction“. The discussion will be with authors Kiran Manral, Kanchana Banerjee, and Megha Pant.

On the 7th Of March, the session will be on how to “Write Engaging Stories” with bestselling author, Preeti Shenoy.

On the 11th of March, the session will be on “Thrilling The Reader” with authors, Chandrima Das, K. Hari Kumar, and Neil D’Silva.

On the 21st of March, the session will be on nuances of poetry, under the theme, “Getting Started With Poetry“, with the poetess Sampurna Chatterjee.

The last session will be on the 25th of March, on the theme “Writing Books That Children Enjoy” with authors, Vibha Batra, Kyrunissa A., and Vidya Mani.

This will be on Facebook and I urge all the readers & even the non-readers to join in this event because I promise there will not be a single moment where you can keep the track of time as it is going to be engaging, interactive & super fun! So, why wait just mark your calendars & join in!

See you on the other side then!
