Mundane Days

Photo by MART PRODUCTION on Pexels.com
      Beside the window
       a river flows
      & the breeze blows
      a blurry haze envolpes
      like a new bride
      the whole sight sighs.

     The chestnut themed
     wood stands still
     holding my belief firm
     roots that feel strong
     pass on an unknown energy
    harmony leading to synergy.

I sit on my arm chair
     just near the window
    the breathtaking view
    mesimerises my senses
   away from caophony
   nestled in a paradise.

  I have forgotten
  what day it is
  is it a happy day
or is it an important one
but they are sparce & few.

   I felt a little nudge
  & looked around
  but found none
  something then clicked
life happens in these mundane days
in its truest , wildest & naked forms.

Love,
Chinmayee
