A gush of wind, 
passed by me,
touched my bare skin,
a familiar touch, 
a fragrance so akin.

A splash of darkness
spilled over me,
pulled my heart strings,
with a bunch of memories,
some smiles and some tears.

A sky full of stars,
hovered over me,
reminded my mind,
a loneliness amongst the crowds,
a moment of despair that strongly pulls.

A night without you,
fell upon me,
attacking my existence,
with questions without answers,
with feelings without meanings.

A book full of words,
came to my  rescue,
hiding my inhibitions,
with dreams that made me smile,
with stories that propel me to walk the mile !
