When we met…again!(100 words story)

I lay on the bed and slowly opened my eyes. It was all blur. The green curtains of the window made me recall that I was in the hospital.

“He is out of danger now.” announced the doctor.

I saw him stand in front of me. My elder brother! We had not spoken for last twelve years! Family feuds!

He suddenly came & grabbed my hand. Held it tight.

 “Do you remember?” He asked.

“Yes. Never be apart, granny had said.” I answered.

We both cried like children at that moment.

I got back my life in true sense today.

β€˜This post is a part of β€˜Blogchatter Half Marathon’ . Writing long articles sometimes is easy but to put a thought in just 100 words is difficult. So, I have challenged myself to focus on writing 100 word stories in this challenge, though I will be adding some long posts in between.

Love,

Chinmayee
