Ashwin fiddled with his pen, lost in his thoughts as if something was bothering him. He was analysing the numbers regarding the partnership with Arvind’s firm.After all,  anything can seem profitable but what matters is the actual revenue that his company was going to earn. It did not seem that bad.

He starred at his laptop screen for a while & then looked outside the window. His past kind of resurfaced in a subtle way. His college days were never easy. Bullied , cornered and often left out he had as if become a silent rebel. His sense of purpose made him conquer one phase after another but it surely was a lonely patch. He recalled that day’s meeting with Arvind. He had kind of seen a reflection of his own struggles in Arvind’s promising eyes.

One of the reasons that had made him finalise the deal with Arvind. He kind of found the same kind of passion in Arvind. He was a self made man too.And Revathy,  his boss was clear about such energy from the beginning.

Just then, Revathy entered his cabin.”  What do you think Aswin? Did we do the right decision by choosing Arvind’s firm? “

“Yes. I still have a clear feeling that we did do the right thing and look at the projection for next five years! It looks sustainable for sure.”

Revathy & Ashwin smiled at each other. Their camaraderie was beyond the bonds of a boss & junior!

“And Mr.Subramanium has earned a name in the market for being the best. He joins a new start up every few years and helps the founders to turn around. But what bothers me is lining up the investors when we expand this vision in the long run.We need to pitch our vision more aggressively and meet some new venture capitalists Revathy! Do you understand?”

” Yes,  yes , you are right ! ” answered Revathy.
