For the breadcrumbs he gave me, I gave him my whole heart. For the excuses he narrated, I made the effort seem effortless. For every lie that he weaved, I showcased my honest truths.
The days passed, and once, which was exciting, seemed mundane…to just him. I still kept being curious, being the one pouring all the love, until it felt empty within!
Questions kept crawling in my mind, making me feel nauseous. I cried, I complained, I prayed. Yes, it was only me. He was happily sailing in one of those ships, aka situationships.
It all changed when I realised, I matter!
Love,
Chinmayee

Thanks a ton for stopping by and yes, this so called dating in today’s time is not modern , it is rather cruel & a pill for mental disaster.
