November-24 is about Resetting !

November has arrived! It’s the 1st of November 2024, and the winter season has officially begun. While temperatures haven’t dropped as much as they usually do, there is definitely a hint of chill in the air. Winters have always been my favorite season, bringing cozy vibes perfect for snuggling in my favorite corner of the room while indulging in books or writing to my heart’s content. The winters are my hibernation time where I love to go within and introspect & realign.

This year has been challenging for me; I’ve had multiple hospital visits, and it feels like the entire year has flown by. I hope the remaining two months bring me some luck with my health, allowing me to feel more stable and pursue the things I want to do.

To help me take baby steps, I’ve set some goals for this month:

1. Write a minimum of three book reviews.

2. Read three new books.

3. Blog daily (without worrying if anyone is reading or not) and read more blogs, too.

4. Submit my writings to journals and literary magazines, so yes, write more.

5. Dive into preparing for a new role in my career. ( High priority)

6. Worry less (I tend to overthink and often have to console myself) and try to stay happy.

7. Eat healthy, listen to music which for some reason I have completely stopped, improve my sleep, and reduce my weight as advised by my doctor( I have put on after my surgery and was advised not to train for some time. So yes that is going to take some time to get back to feeling myself again, in my body).

8. Last but not least, be there for my loved ones and I hope I have them too when I hit my threshold levels(fingers crossed ).

With these goals, I hope to navigate through the tides that occasionally rock my mind. Believe in myself again and start over. This is the Mantra that I am going to embrace this month. If you too are going through any tough times in your lives, trust me it is the same for most of us. You are not alone! We all have struggles to fight and battles to win. So, let us come together, close our eyes, believe in our own capabilities, and take that leap of faith ( again).

Let us rekindle the faith that we will be able to achieve our desired goals, be it professional or personal.

Love,

Chinmayee
