About the Author :

Very few writers have the ability to express themselves in multiple languages and among such rare gems, I am honored to have been able to connect with Tarang Sinha who is a Delhi-based writer, translator, and painter. Her stories through her blog and books touch upon the chords of the heart because she weaves emotions effortlessly and makes them seem so real.

Her articles and stories have been published in Juggernaut Books, Good Housekeeping India, Child India, The Hindu, Woman’s Era, and New Woman. She writes for a popular radio show ‘Yaadon Ka Idiot Box’. She blogs @ tarangsinha.blogspot.com

Narration: The narration is very lucid and easily makes one envision the pot as one turns the pages. It is told in first person and from the viewpoint of the female protagonist, Paridhi.

Book Cover & Title: The Book Cover, title and Blurb are apt and are sure to attract someone who loves romance as a genre.

Content:

We Will Meet Again is a story of a reticent, determined, and introverted girl named Paridhi who accidentally meets Abhigyan, a dashing, intense, successful rich young man where the meeting is anything but romantic. She meets him again at one of her friend’s weddings and discovers that she has developed feelings for him which she herself is not ready to acknowledge.

Paridhi finds it difficult to deal with her own life problems and like every middle-class family, sometimes struggles to survive with her set of personal issues. Abhigyan on the other hand seems more confident and has a grip on things and comes across as one of the strong personalities in the story. He is not someone to give up easily and especially on his love. There arise many conflicts between both the protagonists and that keeps the story more interesting. It does feel like watching a romantic movie but the drama is not over the top and hence it makes it more relatable. The only thing I wanted more in the book is Abhigyan’s perspective and his reason for being sure about Paridhi who seems very difficult to open up her heart.

We will meet again is a mature love story that highlights that it takes pain to know love and shows that love finds those who don’t give up on it. This book promises to make one feel the roller coaster of emotions as one turns the pages. Will Paridhi be able to forget her past and believe in love again? Will Abhigyan eliminate the doubts that Paridhi has in her mind? Will this saga of laughter, tears, hopes, and fears have a beautiful climax? To know more you can pick this novel which is available on Amazon.

My rendezvous with the Talented Author:

Q1-   How would you let yourself known to the world?

It’s a very tough question. I don’t think the world is going to remember me. And
those who know me: just a good human being. 🙂 Also, it would be nice if people
remembered me through my stories.

 Q2-   How did writing happen?

Just like that. Everything ―writing, translation, and painting ―that I am doing
currently has happened just like that, without much thought.

Q3- You write in both languages, Hindi & English. Which one do you enjoy
the most?

Hindi. It comes naturally to me. It’s mostly intuitive.

Q4-   What is your experience of the publishing industry in India?

Traditional publishing is very difficult to crack, to be honest. And paying to get
published is not worth it, in my opinion. Self-publishing on Kindle is a good idea but
marketing is a challenge. So, writers who want to get published traditionally should
approach a trustworthy, reputed literary agent. I wish I understood it.

Q5- Please share with us the experience of joining Neelesh Mishra’s
show? Please also share the links so that our readers can tune in when they
want.

Oh, I used to listen to those stories on the radio. I approached Anulata Ji, a
wonderful writer and the Creative Head of the show. She liked my writing and my

story, and that’s how I became a member of Mandali (we call our writer’s group
Mandali).
Being a Mandali writer is a great experience. We need to work really hard, discussing
the stories and reworking them, but it’s fun. It’s a wonderful place to grow as a
writer.

August Ki Subah

Prem-Geet

Ek Uska Khayal

Q-6 Which is your first choice, blogging or book writing?
Writing (or translating) a book.

Ans- Writing

Q-7- Coming to the current book, We will meet again, please tell us how did
you think about the script and any experiences about writing the book you
want to share.

Interestingly, it began as a Hindi short story in the very initial stage of my writing (in
2009, I think). But I didn’t know how to conclude that story because it went on and
on. I couldn’t even imagine writing a novel, so I left that unfinished. But that idea
didn’t leave me. So, in 2011, I picked it up again and completed it. I rewrote it in
2014.

Q-8- What are your favorite books and which authors have impacted your
writing the most?

Too many books/authors to mention.
I don’t know if any author has impacted my writing. But yes, some writers write so
beautifully that it inspires you to do better.

Q-9- You are a wonderful painter. Please tell us how it helps you in the
creative aspect.

Thank you!
I am not aware if it helps in the creative aspect of writing. But when I am painting, I
like to experiment and do my own thing. I have turned into an intuitive painter.

Q-10- Any message that you want to give to our aspiring writers.

Believe in your writing and the stories you want to tell, but do not fall in love with
your writing.
Read. Good books can teach you more than any creative writing course.
As fascinating as it may seem, don’t rush to publish your book. Take your time.
Work on your manuscript carefully and focus on your storytelling skills. Storytelling
is more important than the story. Writing a good book is more important than
getting published.
