When I realized my heart could sing…

Hello everyone,

as you all know that I have recently published my poetry book titled “Heartfelt symphonies” which is currently available for free download on “Blogchatter” website post which I intend to take it on Amazon and other platforms for wider reach. My community and my friends have really helped me in this endeavor and some of them encouraged me to take on the journey despite the fact that I had many doubts within me whether I could do justice or not when it comes to writing poems. But as they say, when you resolve to do something. you do it despite the odds.

But taking a little journey down the memory lane all I can say is that these collection of poems have are them shelves witness to many changes that I have personally gone through over the past couple of years. Being away from social network and people in general, I had my blog and it heard me when there was none.

Though I sometimes become verbose and write long posts, there are many times when I find it very difficult to express . This is the time when I write poetry because probably poems let me say what prose does not. Its difficult to make my readers understand but the paradigm shift that happens while writing poetry is very difficult to explain. So, all I can say is that these poems have been written over a long period of time and carry multiple shades of emotions, contemplations and philosophical thoughts that I have felt personally. So, Heartfelt Symphonies got its lifeform when I realized that my heart could also sing !

The best part is when you meet people with similar dreams as yours or people who connect with your mental thought process. I met so many new bloggers and the friendship just grew by leaps and bounds. One of such beautiful encounters that I had recently was with Ms. Arti Jain, who is a multi talented personality and I had this honor of connecting with her on two such occasions .

One is when we both did a small book reading excerpts from each others books and I was touched when she read my poem titled ” The Red lipstick” and said that it was her favouirte!

Second was when we both had a small chat over Facebook where we connected with many and spoke about our book journey and also a little about our own shelves.

I have embedded both the videos below and you can enjoy them . Do let me know your thoughts about it.

My rendezvous with Arti Jain, a fellow blogger, author & youtuber on Facebook and it was my first self hosted live session on Facebook.

Ps.my book, Heartfelt Symphonies was also launched and is available for free download as of now. All you have to do is sigh up for free by using your gmail or your Facebook account and voila there you go, you can download it absolutely free!
