Rain Drops

Photo by Achim Bongard on Pexels.com

Tiny drops that keep falling from the sky,

touching the dry pasture land as if it were the first kiss,

the barren terrains waiting for the moisture,

soak within immediately the tiny drops of miracle,

as if a fresh breath of life released,

the unison giving rise to the petrichor,

the fragrance of true love when the wait is over.

The sight so beautiful  urging one to just

behold the moment washing away all the dust

painting a fresh picture that cajoles the eyes,

paving way for new life to take its course,

the elixir of life falls freely like answered prayers

clouds floating in the sky with multiple layers

the rain asks the land if it was ever missed,

the land could only show the cracks in its heart,

the wait can be long many times,

but the magic happens when patience meets prayers!

Love ,

Chinmayee
