Travel is what we do since the time we are born,
from childhood to youth to adulthood we all grow up so soon,
from mother’s love to father’s scolding to sibling’s fond love,
we all feel the warmth of family before deciding to leave the nest,
and fly to distant land to pursue dreams and aspirations,
taking risks , unseen trajectories & travel across unknown horizons,
building a new identity of our own is a daunting task and ,
yet we take the paths without knowing what lies ahead.
Choosing a partner or a new job or getting a transfer,
raises many doubts and we adapt to what is offered on our platter,
every new phase of life demands a new identity ,
for life is an uncertain path and veiled, remains our destiny,
often the confusion is to choose which path to take,
options are many but in life there are no re-takes,
we must bear the consequences of our decisions,
some good, some bad & some uncontrolled,
a lot of times we keep our emotions bottled,
everyone experiences life differently for we travel in unique patterns,
let’s stop judging , criticizing and questioning decisions of others,
empathy, compassion & a helping hand towards each other,
can make this travel called Life a lot more memorable,
let’s be each other’s shining light to make this journey enjoyable!

I just loved the poem. Every word is true. Life is indeed a beautiful journey just like a fairy tale. I loved how you defined every phase of life so beautifully. Loved the last few lines most.. They’re so deep and heart touching.

Yeah still bearing the consequences of getting married hahahahahahha!!!! Good post though. It’s awesome to take the path you are unsure of so it’s exciting and you have a lot to learn.

Life! Go with the flow or sometimes against it. I liked the lines where you talk about decisions. What we are at this moment is because of the decisions we made.
